EP 54- What Your Zodiac Sign Says About You And Why Is There S*** On My Porch!!
Like the episode, have a question or opinion? Send us a text!! 5 star reviews only (LOL)
Happy anniversary to the Kosmic Cove! We're marking one full year of podcasting with an episode packed full of otherworldly delights, personal revelations, and the unexplained phenomena you've come to love.
The journey begins with an honest look back at our humble beginnings – how this podcast came together, the challenges we've faced, and the philosophy that's kept us going. "Lock the f**k in," as we like to say. No excuses, just doing the work and pursuing our passion. For anyone considering starting their own creative venture, this opening segment offers both encouragement and real talk about what it takes to build something from nothing.
Diving into our first main topic, we explore the ancient origins and modern interpretations of Western zodiac signs. From fiery Aries to dreamy Pisces, we break down each sign's personality traits, ruling planets, elements, and hidden tendencies. But we don't stop at the standard horoscope fare – we reveal which signs are statistically most likely to become serial killers and which ones make the perfect victims. Whether you're a true believer or zodiac skeptic, our humorous take on astrological destinies will have you questioning your star chart in new ways.
The episode takes a darker turn as we investigate the chilling phenomenon of Black-Eyed Children (BEK). These mysterious entities, resembling normal kids but with completely black eyes, have been reported across the world since the 1990s. We share bone-chilling encounter stories, explore various theories about their origins, and discuss their disturbing behaviors – including their inability to enter homes without invitation, eerie mature speech patterns, and the overwhelming dread they instill in witnesses.
Finally, we close with personal paranormal experiences from our childhoods, including Yayo's infamous story about a possessed Barney doll that terrorized his family home, followed by equally disturbing tales of cursed Smurf toys linked to inexplicable deaths.
Whether you've been with us from day one or this is your first time tuning in, this anniversary episode encapsulates everything that makes Kosmic Cove special – our authentic conversation, unexpected humor, and genuine curiosity about the mysteries that lurk just beyond everyday reality.

Two o'clock noon he high as hell underneath the bridge from the crack, from the crack $80 worth of crack $80 worth of crack right there.
Speaker 2:It's crazy bro that's really the mentality you got to go to.
Speaker 1:You got to have that crack mentality really to make it out here. Always bro, always bro, for real.

Um, let's see, I had a little incident where we had left the floor semi-finished just to paint come by the next day I said easy day come by tomorrow we start painting home by 12, home by 12, uh, drinking some more delos on my porch.
Speaker 1:You know tight shit, tight shit. You know scene division pull up footsteps all over the bitch muddy footsteps pain oh, bro, didn't even do nothing that day, but I left, bro, I was, I was dead ass, I was just, I was just bad bro, I was just like I couldn't even thank you straight, I couldn't even thank you. I said fuck it, let's go, let's go who said all that taster was red? A red 40, bro, for real, bro, some kool-aid? Uh, it was that shit just pissed me off, y'all believe.
Speaker 2:And then tell them tell them.
Speaker 1:That was about it what what else? What else happened?
Speaker 2:I feel, who was it though?
Speaker 1:the painters, painters, finisher somebody fucking stepped in there. I put a sign do not, do not walk in, put tape. That's why I fucked up. I think that's why I fucked up. I put it in English. I should have put it in Spanish too. That low-key I was thinking about. That's on me. I should have put it in Spanish?
Speaker 2:No, no.
Speaker 1:That's the part. But to be fair, we're in America, baby. We're in America To be fair.
Speaker 2:We are in the land of the free.
Speaker 1:Last time I changed, freedom is English.
Speaker 2:We're just joking, y'all. We're just joking. We're just joking. No, but that was a good excuse in back then's time, bro. But times have changed, bro. Technology has advanced, bro. All you have to do is pull out your phone look at the shit and then that shit translates for you bro.
Speaker 1:But people don't want to keep up with the time, they don't. They just want to stay behind, just that, or get the neuro chip there some slight, really. Yeah, and I try to be net runners, that's. That's y'all's problem. If my mom can understand it by now, y'all motherfuckers can understand it by now and by y'all I mean I mean the dirty one. It's jokes, it's jokes. I'm one of them too, but yeah brother, they them walked all over my shit.
Speaker 2:Did you see them? Were they still there when you got?
Speaker 1:here. No, I pulled up and it was just footsteps all over, all over. Boy, what's wrong with you? And had a call. Had a call, the dude that gave me the job. I'm like, hey, this is going to run you another 500, my boy and we got it. Oh for real. Yeah, another 500 to stop.
Speaker 2:What are you doing? Snowball, I mean B.
Speaker 1:Bro, you too active right now, bro B, like the other day. Bro, the other day I was chilling. See, it's que entro confianza. See, now he think he can do whatever he want.
Speaker 2:He needs his nest, bro. That's what he had last time. Right Last time he had his nest and he just burrowed in it.
Speaker 1:Oh right, damn Snowball that Honey but the honey packs in the blue juice. He just like hey dad, same size. I already opened it up to scale.
Speaker 2:One to one. One to one Hard and soft. No, they just chilling bro. They just chilling, but damn bro. So the people weren't there anymore. Then Like the painters weren't there anymore and y'all just ended up leaving. So you just told them I'm packing my shit.
Speaker 1:Yeah, Another thing I didn't have enough sandpaper too.
Speaker 2:Who said?
Speaker 1:Well, jared told me after he finished buff because he had to buff everything again After he finished he was like we had enough sandpaper so. But I told the dude, I said, look, I'm leaving, I don't got no sandpaper. And so the dude that gave me the job he was going to charge the building, the building was going to charge the painters. That's how that. That's how that went.
Speaker 1:So and bro, and it's crazy because they were trying to turn in the house Like it was supposed to damn because of them. Oh, then they pushed. It's a whole mess. That house was a whole whole mess, bro. Shit, shit was crazy. I feel like that's why it feels like I haven't. I haven't been here for me.
Speaker 2:I had to dissociate had a had to lock in a little bit, right. That's the way it has to be. Sometimes, though, because you know, we're doing this like as a, as a hobby, I guess, so to say, but we're also like so caught up in our work lives, right?
Speaker 1:this is really just the only time we finally get to decompress like for real, just like chill, like I have, like I mean, I know there's stuff I have to do for the podcast, but it doesn't feel like, like it's stuff that I'm willing to do or like that I want to do not not to like work because nobody really want to work. You feel me? No me, he know me, he know me. But damn, I had some other stuff. I had a I had to say.
Speaker 1:Oh, on the way back the other day I saw this I don't know if it was a couple or mom and the kid arguing Tell me why they stop in the middle of the road, just stop, stop. And then they were yelling he's like you hear him. I was like no, because I thought they were going to turn to the left or turn something. You know how people don't be using their blinkers. That's what I thought that was going on. But no, brother, they just started going. They were swerving all over the road. I hit a car, ran a red light, I was to pull into a school. Someone got out them way home for me, but I just want to see what happened.
Speaker 2:So I just can't so I put them in the parking lot with them and just stayed right behind them, at least 10 feet away at least, to look inconspicuous right, just look, I start, start sweeping the floor, start sleeping the floor outside, get the brooms, get the brooms.
Speaker 1:but uh, but, yeah, that was, I think that was about it, yeah, yeah, that's about it. For me, no too crazy, just regular.
Speaker 2:For me it was pretty simple too, but I really didn't do too much. I mean, it's Memorial Weekend, oh dang, talk about that. Oh, my goodness, I forgot it's our one. Oh, it's our one anniversary podcast. Oh, is it One year anniversary? Oh shit, anniversary podcast. Oh, is it one year anniversary? Oh shit, y'all know, y'all know y'all see, y'all see happy anniversary to all our fellow listeners and everybody. Y'all been here a year. Y'all been listening to us for a whole year.
Speaker 1:It's been one year. What have y'all done with your life?
Speaker 2:go ahead. Let us hear it, because we in the same boat, because we're on the same boat yeah, bro, it's been a whole year now since we had this podcast.
Speaker 3:I was going to get a cake and everything, bro. Oh, for real.
Speaker 1:But I forgot Dan, so y'all started this on Memorial Day or like the week before. It was actually like last weekend, I think.
Speaker 2:But, since we already had that episode out.
Speaker 3:I think I just went ahead and said this one was going to be the one-year anniversary. So every Memorial Day, okay, one year anniversary. So every memorial day around that time it's gonna be damn, okay, okay yeah, bro.
Speaker 2:So one year, one year in the game now that's crazy. We, we did pretty good. You know we have a couple milestones. We'll go ahead and touch on a little bit that we've done so far. So you know, this was actually uh, you know I'm gonna touch on it's a little bit of a sensitive topic, I guess a little bit not too much though, because I mean it pretty much is what it is, but essentially it was supposed to be whole drama, whole drama, right go ahead, spell the whole t.
Speaker 1:What is that uh tv show? They just be going uh over. It's like hollywood inside hollywood, oh yeah so a tmz, bro, tmz, right, there you go.
Speaker 2:Then I forgot about the cameras and everything when we walk out and, uh, essentially this whole podcast was supposed to start. Well, it was a vision right, it was me, um pharaoh, hysteria and gruddy. It was supposed to be like a vision we all had. We all wanted to do a podcast. Well, they wanted to do a podcast and I was like you know what I'm willing to do, whatever it takes to. Uh, you know, try, try and do something with my life, try and do like make something right, right, try and be something, I guess, there you go, that's all I want like.
Speaker 2:I'm not really looking for fame or anything, I just want to be able to provide for my family that's all I see, okay, okay, provide for my family, provide for those that you know need help and everything that's all I want to do, right right, simple man, shit and um. So I was like you know what?
Speaker 2:I liked them a whole lot, so let's just get this shit together, you know and somebody has to get the ball rolling, because if you're just throwing ideas and nobody's doing any action, then you know how the fuck you're gonna get. Like, get, get to where you want to get you know, but, you know, we all came to an agreement.
Speaker 2:We all said you know, this is what we want to do. Essentially that's where it started off at. You know, from there we ended up making our first episode. I told them, like what type of microphones we needed to get. I told them, like we needed to get a camera, we needed to get, like, podcast equipment the whole freaking, uh little pod track thing.
Speaker 3:We had a little small one I had a small one, yeah, but then I finally got this bad boy upgraded to this bad thing and uh, yeah, that was pretty much it, bro.
Speaker 2:You know, we, uh, we're like, you know, what do we want to talk about? We want to talk about anime. We want, we wanted to talk about everything and anything really, right, right, I mean it's. I know it's broad and a lot of people saying it's not, it's not good to do that, because you know you need to get into your niche and dial in on what you're good with. But I mean, bro, I see countless podcasts that talk about nothing but their whole entire day or week or whatever, and that's a whole two-hour thing, whole two-hour thing.
Speaker 2:They got like 10k followers or 50k followers and but they not talk about nothing, they're just talking about their. Y'all don't even fucking know these dudes right or chicks about their. Y'all don't even fucking know these dudes Right or chicks or whatever. Yeah, yeah, yeah, like y'all don't even fucking know them. But you know there's people out here that you know talk about good stuff, like I mean no disrespect to them. I listen to some podcasts like that too. I mean to each their own, you know, but it when you like them and you actually want to be a part of their like I guess social life or whatever.
Speaker 2:Just see what keep up with them essentially so I, I get that, but, um, you know, but for other people to dog on people, they're like, yeah, you know, I want to talk about anime, I want to talk about this, I want to talk about that, and they're like oh, but you, you're too wide, you, you got too much stuff you want to talk about.
Speaker 1:Bro, fuck that shit it's like everything about motherfuckers just be motherfuckers.
Speaker 2:Love to talk really right, they just they just love to just hate on people, right but it's also all these said gurus and experts that say you need to do this. No, right, just just do what you like, right? All right, do what you like, and then you're gonna see what you really do like and what you don't like, and stuff like that, because you know, I mean, you're gonna see what you lean more towards and just do it.
Speaker 2:Naturally, you know what I'm saying like right, you ain't gotta be like oh, I'm gonna talk about this and I gotta talk about that, like, no, like, if you, if it's something that you like, like, we talk about everything and anything like I said but we lean more towards like the scary stuff, the paranormal, the theories, and yeah, we'll also take a break from that but and also like cut back, like that's what we want to do. Like have laid back episodes and stuff like that but see, we figured out the balance that we like exactly, yeah yeah, that's all y'all have to do, like find balance really.
Speaker 2:Yeah, just find a good balance, see what you really do enjoy, and if not, you just break it off into sections like, oh, I like this, but also want to have this. I mean, you don't have to mix it together. You can literally just do like a couple episodes on this month, a couple episodes of this a month, kind of like what we're doing now. Right, we're trying to do right that's pretty much it.
Speaker 2:But um, yeah, if there's anybody out there that that wants to be a podcaster or do youtube or anything like that, you know, chase your dreams, you know. Don't, don't, don't, be damn my phone, don't be afraid to do it. You know, just just go out there and do it. That's all I gotta say.
Speaker 1:Really, just go out there and just do it right.
Speaker 2:Don't make no excuses either. I mean people be making excuses out to ask for the slightest and stupidest things, y'all won't? I ain't throwing shade at nobody, but I'm just saying, like in general, like when you've been around so much people that just make excuses, that's all you hear your whole entire life. I need this. I ain't got that. I don't know what to do. I need this, um, but how should I do this? Like, bro, like you're gonna learn, bro, you're gonna learn. You're gonna have to do some research. You watch streamers, you watch youtubers, you watch podcasts, look at what they do and just take notes and see what you like, see the style they do, see the notes they take, see the way they do everything. Like it's not that hard, you just gotta lock in. Really, you just gotta see. Like you just gotta see yourself the way you want it to be like your future to be kind of sort of you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2:Like you see yourself as a good entertainer, then you got to be a good entertainer. Learn how to speak better. Learn how to. You know, just dial in on yourself.
Speaker 1:Really, you know that speak better is a big one for me right there. I'll be trying.
Speaker 2:I'm heavy on that.
Speaker 1:I'm heavy on that. I advocate for that. It's big better.
Speaker 2:I'll take a class if I need to y'all, I've been trying y'all, I promise y'all.
Speaker 1:I used to talk way worse than when I started. Y'all can ask whatever, but my slang, my lingo, my abbreviations for words.
Speaker 2:I would not completely pronunciate words that's not good bro, we all like that, bro, we all like that. But that's, that's pretty much how the whole podcast started. You know we did that and you know we just started. You know, locking in, we were dropping episode every week, episode, episode, episode. And you know, one thing led to another and you know we just had to part ways and I mean I still got love for him and everything. You know my fault. Yeah, I got this stupid cough again, rudolph, but um, we had to go separate ways and everything. But it is what it is. You know it's not no bad blood or anything like that we all just chilling.
Speaker 2:You know people just go separate ways and everything. You know we had a little um, one-on-one talk with each other, well, kind of sort of. But you know things ended off on a good terms and that's all you can really ask for, right, right, for real. That really shows a lot about a person's character. It shows a lot about how mature they are and everything. It's always good when you're around people or dealing with people that have common sense, know how to just handle stuff like an adult really, for real, an adult?
Speaker 1:Yeah, you should be an adult.
Speaker 2:Not be a childish person that'd be complaining, bitching, doing all this other over the top shit. No, they're like when you're dealing with a grown person actually has some sense.
Speaker 2:You know, it makes everything a whole lot better yeah, you know, it makes everything easier, it makes everything good, smooth, and I mean, that's pretty much it, you know. And then we ended up bringing yayo onto the team and you know, like I said, we ended up part ways and yayo ended up bringing yayo onto the team. And, uh, you know, like I said, we ended up part ways and yayo ended up sticking with me. If not, it was just gonna be a one-man band. I was gonna figure it out eventually, but shit I got lucky.
Speaker 2:How yayo I saw the vision he saw the vision, he said, yeah, let me help this dude out real quick I saw the vision and I believed in him.
Speaker 1:Really I, I believed in the, in the, in the goal, really, in the plans. Really I seen it and, like you said, like Reverend said, this is about making excuses in my head too. I was like, bro, I ain't going to be able to do this, I ain't going to be like you said, bro. I was already putting those excuses in my mind, like I ain't going to be able to help you, I ain't't gonna be able to, I ain't gonna be able to help you, I ain't gonna be able to. Like my research ain't gonna be good, or like like. I was thinking too, like damn, I gotta. Like I'm gonna have to do a lot of work and I was telling myself you don't have that time. But look, I do. You like you do find that time, you do have the time. Like we both work, we, you know reverence has definitely more responsibilities than I do, but and he still comes here, still records, still edits the episodes, still I tried to do the research I tried.
Speaker 1:About the last one I tried uh, still does all that like, really like, if you don't think about excuses there's thousands of excuses you can't. You can come up with, but, like you said, just doing it, like I got, really I believe in myself. Really I was like bro, I ain't gonna be able to, I ain't gonna be no good for the, for the podcast, like that, but it's working out, I think so I feel like you and I feel like people do like, uh, hearing you talk, I like hearing you talk whenever you like.
Speaker 2:I watch the tiktoks or whatever. I'm like, yeah, this, this is a perfect person for the podcast because I feel like you do bring the good energy you do bring. I try the I try, I try, yeah, like the topics, the knowledge, and then the jokes and everything Like the way we could play off each other.
Speaker 3:Right.
Speaker 2:Right, I don't mean the glaze, but you know when you got-.
Speaker 1:Yeah, he glazing y'all Chat Chat. Is he glazing Chat Ray? Am I glazing Me boy, you boy and About to grab like that, put me down.
Speaker 2:Duke, dennis, please, duke, put me down.
Speaker 1:Oh shit, that shit was hilarious when I see that, bro, I said ain't no way, he just did that to Duke, ain't no way.
Speaker 2:I don't know what kind of shit y'all on, but I ain't playing with that shit. But I mean really, that's all you got to do, y'all.
Speaker 1:Y'all, y'all just got to lock in with yourself.
Speaker 2:Just do it just do it with your friends. You know, if you have a vision, stick to the vision. You know, if it's something that y'all really want to pursue, go and pursue it. You know that shit sound corny as hell because you know everybody says everybody says that everybody says I hate saying that shit myself, you know, but I mean, that's all it is to it. You want it? Go and get it. Stop making them excuses. Lock the fuck in.
Speaker 3:That's it, bombardino cappuccino right there bro bombardino gusanini bro lock the fuck in.
Speaker 2:That's all it is to it. Yeah, that's. That was pretty much like the whole come up, the whole lore behind the lord, the lord, you know but uh, you know, a whole one year already. That's crazy bro whole one year. We're about to have a 1k downloads from all the streaming platforms. Well, I don't know, because I think like, if you go to like the actual analytics, analytics and everything, it's actually more. But the service or whatever you want to call it, the person that, the how, do you call?
Speaker 2:it, the provider that we use, or whatever you want to call it, just gets like the basic numbers. But if y'all want like detailed numbers, like I have to make, I had to go into the apple podcast and actually sit there and look at oh, okay, okay like the whole analytics from there, but we're almost at a thousand.
Speaker 2:You know, whole year we found almost hit a thousand uh downloads for the podcast you know we're about to hit. I think we already got like 10k likes on tiktok. Oh shit, I think some shit like that. I want to say, oh, I don't know, hold on, let me check real quick, let me give y'all some Live, live details.
Speaker 1:Hey, go tell your brother to stop, go tell him to stop.
Speaker 2:Oh no, we got About 2k likes. My fault y'all. I'm already. I'm over here throwing.
Speaker 1:He's seeing the vision y'all. He's seeing my fault y'all. He really is way into the future. That really he went into the future really.
Speaker 2:But uh, 2k. We're almost at 2k likes. You know it's been a year. We got 44 followers. You know it's something I mean yeah it's better than nothing. No, you gotta start somewhere. Everybody starts somewhere. Some people get there before they hit a year. Some people get there six years later.
Speaker 1:Right it is something you know.
Speaker 2:Road, it wasn't building in the day but watch this but watch no, but uh, yeah, that's pretty much it y'all just a little backstory on but watch this, but watch this. No, but yeah, that's pretty much it. Y'all Just a little back story On the whole Cosmic Cove and everything. Let's go ahead and get into this topic. Then y'all Go ahead and let the people Know what this first topic.
Speaker 1:About Gotcha Gotcha. Check this out Check this out this for the girlies, really. This for who said that? This for the girlies, really. Who said that? This for the girlies, really? We don't talk about the Zodiac signs.
Speaker 2:Right, little silly heads, we talking about the Zodiac signs.
Speaker 3:Right, hey, yo hey yo Y'all know what I'm talking about.
Speaker 2:But go ahead, y'all, let them know about the Zodiacs it's so in depth, it's so in depth.
Speaker 1:I went a little in depth, a little. Not too crazy, cause then we still gotta read the Zodiacs for each day and everything. So I was like bro, I forgot, I forgot to do the Zodiacs for the day. I just looked up the. Uh, I just looked it up online today's, yeah, today's.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I just looked it up online Today's, yeah, today's. I just looked it up online, but for everybody.
Speaker 3:Yeah, for everybody it's all online.
Speaker 2:That's like a specific one, just a general, basic one, because I know there's one that's about love, one about money, one about career.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's like an overall. Okay, my bad, I appreciate you. I completely forgot until we started.
Speaker 1:I'm like because I didn't want to put too much info, because I was like I didn't want to run out of time and whatnot. So, yeah, all right, so check this out, check this out, get a little background where the zodiacs came about and whatnot. Okay, so this is the Western Zodiac with its 12 signs, has the history rooted in ancient Mesopotamian astronomy and was later refined by the Greeks and Romans. While evidence suggests early humans observed constellations, the formal system of the zodiac emerged in ancient Mesopotamia and was then incorporated into Greek and Roman astrology Astrology. I feel like I read that twice, but all right. The Babylonians around 1500 BC divided the zodiac into 12 equal signs, which were later adopted by the Greeks. This should go way back. Yeah, this ain't go way back.
Speaker 3:Yeah, it goes way back, this ain't go way, way back, all right.
Speaker 1:The Greeks, built upon Babylonian traditions, created a list of 48 constellations, including the 12 signs of the Babylonian zodiac. The astronomer Ptolemy, in his work Tretabilus sound like that cocodrilo thing? Codified the idea of the two suns, each spanning 30 degrees in the sun's movement through them. Over the year, this work became a cornerstone of the Western astrology. The Romans adopted the Hellenistic zodiac and its astrological interpretations. Over time, the zodiacal divisions have shifted slightly from the constellations that were named after due to Earth's axial precessions. Other cultures, such as the Mayans and Chinese, also developed their own zodiac systems. Such as the Mayans and Chinese also developed their own zodiac systems. The Mayan calendar had a 260-day cycle used for divinatory purposes, and they tracked the movement of Venus and other planets. The Chinese zodiac associates each year with the animal sign in a 12-year cycle.

Speaker 1:You asked Reverend.
Speaker 2:Oh shit.
Speaker 3:It's a really good one.
Speaker 2:I've been wanting to do this one for so long.
Speaker 1:I like it. I love this.
Speaker 2:This, honestly, some of my favorite we might have to come back to this right because there is so much low-key.
Speaker 1:All right, so check this out. So we got the bec, or?
Speaker 2:bek, oh yeah, my fault.
Speaker 1:No, no, you good. No, because I seen it too. I hadn't seen the. I just want to make sure when I sent that. So this is basically black eye children's or black eye kids.
Speaker 2:See, I didn't want to come off in any type of way, so I just said children to keep it respectful Really.
Speaker 1:Um, okay, so there are modern urban legend about paranormal entities resembling children with completely black eyes. Uh, the legends believed to have originated from stories shared online, particularly one by Texas reporter Brian Beto in 1996, who described encounters with such children. In 1996, beto then reported in Avalon Texas, recounted oh sorry, sorry. In 1996, beto, then a reporter in Avalon Texas, recounted his chilling experience in a private communication with the small group.
Speaker 1:Brian Bethel met the black guy children while paying his cable bill in 1996 in Avalon Texas, after finishing a late shift at the local newspaper. He was sitting in his car outside a strip mall writing a check. Suddenly the hair on the back of his neck stood up. He noticed a group of teenagers standing close to his car. The teens asked for a ride to their mother's house to get money for tickets. They wanted to catch a late night showing at the mall's movie theater. But something struck Beto as odd. The movie they wanted to see had already started 45 minutes ago, in fact, and the teenagers sounded much older than they appeared to see. Had already started 45 minutes ago, in fact, and the teenagers sounded much older than they appeared to be Then in the dim light of the parking lot he saw. Their eyes were completely black. He threw his car into reverse and sped away. When he glanced back, the children were gone. Okay, so that's basically the end of that story. Want me to keep going into a?
Speaker 3:little bit more details.
Speaker 1:So, okay, so that's basically the end of that story. Uh, want me to keep going into a little bit more details? All right, so, uh, okay, so there's a couple notes on that story. That the boys are suddenly demeanor, combined with the black eyes, phil bethel, with the sense of dread leading him to refuse their request to be let into his car. He later shared this account more widely and it's considered the foundation of the bekek legend.
Speaker 1:Um, black-eyed kids are typically depicted as being between 6 and 16 years old. They have pale skin and their eyes are entirely black, lacking a discernible iris or pupil. Um their common behavior they often approach people in public places or at their homes, usually at night. They might ask for help, a ride or to use a phone. They are described as having a persuasive and unsettling demeanor. A key element of the legend is the feeling of dread or fear that people experience upon encountering them. Um. Some accounts describe be case as wearing old-fashioned or ill-fitting uh clothing, adding to their unsettling presence, others describing and speaking in a manner that seems too mature or sophisticated for their apparent age they be talking like chat gbt they be talking a little too mature, really a little too too advanced for me right right using some big words like I don't know.
Speaker 1:That must be a courageous.
Speaker 2:Therefore, first and foremost, Before I start. Before I start For me to write a whole essay Before I begin. What was it Furthermore? Secondly, hence To sum it all up. To sum it up, writing an essay head on.
Speaker 1:I'll throw their words in there like crazy. They're all over the page. My page, my report is. My report is never had a beginning or end, it's just just read it.
Speaker 2:All right, my fault, bro. I didn't mean to cut you off.
Speaker 1:Oh, you got it bro, do you want me to keep? Oh okay, so that's basically all I have for their details and whatnot.
Speaker 2:Yeah, just going to go into. Uh, well, I'll go into, like their behaviors, or yeah go ahead.
Speaker 2:So black-eyed children are rarely violent, but their goal is almost always to be invited in. They're often reported saying things like we can't come in unless you say it's okay or this won't take long. We're just kids. Boom through the door. Their speech is only formal and robotic. On my. We can't count me now. He be in my head, y'all. He be. He be in my guts and head. Oh shit, what did he say? Yo, what the fuck? Oh fuck, motherfuckers, be really Trying to throw some Some old Ayo shit when you having a good time. I like that. I like that. I like that. Throw some Ayo shit in there, just throw. Make sure you on your toes.
Speaker 2:Make sure you listen, make sure you listen really, that's really how you really gotta Make sure people is listening. Next time you with your boys Say some Ayo shit, just to see if they really Keeping up with your story.
Speaker 1:And they just hit you with that Uh huh, go ahead and do it. Go ahead and do it. Talk about you agreed.
Speaker 2:Why is your balls on my forehead? Yo, you agree, you agree a little, bro, shh, shh, shh shh, I'm done Fring on your Rubbing their finger across your lips. So their speech is oh wait, we already said this. Witnesses often report an overwhelming sense of dread or nausea. They said there's usually like time distortion the event seems longer than what it was. There's also been um accounts of like electrical disturbances, like your lights might flicker, your tv might cut on your phone might glitch um.
Speaker 2:people tend to have no memory of what happened after refusing or letting them in. Okay, Damn. Let me give you a little bit of theories about what people think they are. Some people claim to think that they might be extraterrestrials. I've seen that Some people believe they're alien-human hybrids sent to study us. What do you think about that?
Speaker 1:I've seen that too.
Speaker 2:Honestly.
Speaker 1:I can see it. What better way to study them? Honestly? I mean, y'all need a better way.
Speaker 2:What better way to get in your enemy's territory than to blend in as one?
Speaker 1:You're getting shot my boy.
Speaker 2:Me going in China, china, usa. I'm standing for y'all, don't y'all?
Speaker 3:worry.
Speaker 2:Hey yo, hey Ray would say the same shit with me, Nah low key.
Speaker 1:Yeah, you're right, Nah low key.
Speaker 2:Nah, low key. Nah, I'm about to get cancerous.
Speaker 1:Yo, I'm cutting all that. I'm cutting all that. Everything. Speed worked for all the good work you did over there you're gone usa, take notes if you really want to.
Speaker 2:You know you got to send in some spies. I mean you, you're pushing boundaries at that point. But you know, sometimes to get the info you want, you ain't got to be ethical, you just got to do a little bit of ayo shit just get an old lady pull her skin away, like that doctors be doing so they said they're often appear around ufo sightings or military zones oh shit okay witnesses sometimes suffer missing time or report implants. Wait a minute. Why the fuck did I wake up with the bbl?
Speaker 1:bbl is crazy with the bbl is yo I got.
Speaker 2:So the aliens came by my house last night.
Speaker 1:I was about to say you walk around your house. Who clapping, who that clap, you start running. Who clapping around, here I be acting the fool.
Speaker 2:Let me go make breakfast. I want something from the fridge. You know, you just got to keep your homeboys entertained. You got to show them that, but you can just let the audio and let them visualize, you know.
Speaker 1:No, just imagine you sure.
Speaker 2:Oh yo, oh no, we lost the remote. I guess I got to change the channel by hand.
Speaker 1:It's over, it's over, it's over. About to act a fool.
Speaker 2:Homeboy with the BBL is diabolical, all right about to act a fool. Homeboy with the bbl is diabolical, all right. So other people might think that it's demons or interdimensional beings? I was just about to say that yeah, yeah, oh did no no, it was the same more stuff, or did you? Uh, did you have reports that you're just gonna do no, I, I had the.
Speaker 1:Uh, it was basically just the same thing you're, but you can go ahead and finish. I'll just cover. Yeah, you can go ahead and finish. It's fine, go ahead.
Speaker 2:Like I said, demons are interdimensional beings. The invitation rule mirrors classic vampire folklore.
Speaker 1:There you go, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2:I don't know Y'all, let me know Right Black eyes may represent soulless vessels, oh okay oh like the demons, you know, they have like yep, yep like y'all seen them. Scary movies like uh legion that lady in the cafe or the diner right everybody knows movies are real. Everybody knows is accurate one of one. Their presence may attract paranormal activity like poltergeist or hauntings days later oh, I know that you know.
Speaker 2:Okay, yeah, because you know essentially they say, like the, the aliens are fallen angels right, that's what, that's what we're saying, or whatever and the fallen angels is associated with like the demons right right, because you know they defied god and everything. So, essentially, if you're creating a hot spot, then it's going to be attracting attracting other stuff. That makes sense okay just law of attraction okay, okay but is it all worth waking up with the bbl? All right, so I'm like I'll get a question.
Speaker 3:I get all this light put on me because I want to wake up a man can't dream, god forbid.
Speaker 2:a man has dreams in that bitch's head. Y'all, y'all shaking your head saying, nah he done. For when I pull up with that beat, I don't want to hear, no, I don't want to see, no, stare.
Speaker 1:All y'all turn the volume down. Don't be turning on things, Don't be. Don't be turning around when you walk by, Don't be dropping your pads and talking about.
Speaker 2:oh, let me pick this up right quick. Can you get that for me? Can you get that I ain't falling for none of those goofy ass tricks, somebody get somebody put this man on rule 34. All right. Number three government experiments or clones.
Speaker 3:Oh, okay, okay.
Speaker 2:They might be engineered, psychic children programmed to manipulate. So, like government done, made pro gaslighters. Really, essentially, this is what this is, you know pro gaslighters Professional gaslighters. Yep, can we get in your ride? No, can we get in your vine?
Speaker 1:no, can we get in your ride, respectfully, respectfully, to kill you is crazy.
Speaker 2:My fault. G get in. I didn't know you were. Why didn't you just fucking say so get in get a goofy, all right. The black eyes could be a result of surgical or technological modification oh, cyborg oh, cyborg, you know, sometimes you, you spend so much on all the main components that you really just can't touch up on the cosmetics. You know, sometimes you just gotta leave out the modern details.
Speaker 3:They just be like that.
Speaker 1:It'd be just you don't got enough. Uh, you can't.
Speaker 2:Uh, it's like goddamn exactly, exactly, yeah, let's keep going.
Speaker 1:Yeah, let's keep going the micro sleeve.
Speaker 2:I tell you, it really gets you when you need it when you least expect that your brain just say yeah that's right there you are, just the whole husk they just hold particles right there for a moment just it's hey, hey, probably like that dude, better be like that dude.
Speaker 1:I turn, I turn that for 40 million dollars to play.
Speaker 2:Uh, you turn down to go to school, all right last one they said it could be lost souls or spirits. Okay, some say they're the ghosts of children who died tragically and became something else, feeding off fear or energy.
Speaker 1:Okay I I got like a whole bunch of details, bro. Go ahead, bro, because look, he's going to more deep uh, more depth than what I.
Speaker 2:Like we said, this could really just be a two-parter.
Speaker 1:Right.
Speaker 2:We're going to try and power through it, because the last topic ain't going to take too long.
Speaker 3:No, no, no.
Speaker 2:So a little bit of rare or uncommon details. You might not know is strange. Weather often follows Several cases report storms, static electricity or animal disturbances the night after a VEK encounter.
Speaker 1:I didn't know about that one.
Speaker 2:That's what they say it says that they hate dogs. Multiple stories include dogs barking hysterically yeah. Even attacking their doors to protect owners. I got a story like that, oh forically.
Speaker 1:Yeah, even attacking their doors to protect owners. I got a story. I got a story like that. Oh for real.
Speaker 2:Yeah, see, you know sometimes them dogs. Y'all may not believe it, but if you do, you know, you understand that dogs just have that sense of the extra sense that we ain't got.
Speaker 1:Some people ain't got Sorry, sorry.
Speaker 2:Yeah, locked in. You know what I'm saying. They can see stuff we can't see, or they feel things we can't feel until it's too late. That's how I see it. They leave no footprints behind. No footprints, oh shit. So in snowy areas people report no footprints where the kids were standing or that the children vanish instantly instantly if a door is closed.
Speaker 1:It's a transmission. I see it. I see it.
Speaker 2:It's like you're being rude as hell to the fucking black-eyed kids. No, get off my porch. All you hear is all right, you look down. They let the whole pile of shit, but they disappeared.
Speaker 1:All they do is disappear. That's what I'm saying. They suck your shit, wipe the hole.
Speaker 2:I ain't, no, I ain't cleaning this up. Hell no, hell no.
Speaker 1:Nah, I'll leave that shit there. I ain't even gonna lie Motherfucking shit on my porch.
Speaker 2:I'll leave that shit there. Nah, you get it. I ain't picking that shit up. You get shot dog.
Speaker 1:Shit on my porch, oh shit rude as hell type shit really.
Speaker 2:That's why y'all can't give me superpowers, and with the BBL it's gonna go crazy you know, this here clapping through the city.
Speaker 1:He's coming.
Speaker 2:I'm just gonna be like, what's her name? I'm really gonna be like, what's her name? Um Gracie, was it Gracie?
Speaker 1:Gracie, yeah, yeah, that's.
Speaker 2:Gracie that's looking for a professional butt wiper for her you talking about baby mama gracie yeah, all right, let's see. It says they're linked to sleep paralysis and nightmares so after encounter. Some people report recurring dreams or seeing the children in their room during sleep. Paralysis oh shit. Just imagine, bro, you, you chilling, you, you cuss them out. You tell them get off your lawn and everything. You go to bed. Boom, they right there looking over you.
Speaker 1:But that's crazy, though, because like they need the permission to get in though but that's just them in the uh, astral, that's your project type shit okay.
Speaker 2:Okay, an astral sense in a different realm, where, okay, where the rules don't exist.
Speaker 1:Okay, okay, okay, that's crazy that's what they say. That's what they say but they're really just hovering over you.
Speaker 2:Yeah, look at you. They really just rubbing their hands. Yeah, look at you you can't move you can't move, boy. You said that someone go get the butter jelly god damn. Someone go get the butter jelly God damn. Someone go warm up the jelly that's a crime. Mix a little Benadryl in that thing. Yo Some of that Diddy oil.
Speaker 1:You're going to warm it up in 30 seconds, but then stirred a little bit.
Speaker 3:Use your finger to one-on-one. No metal left in that thing.
Speaker 2:Ay yo, that's what they say.
Speaker 1:That's what the dope say.
Speaker 2:That's what my C paralysis at least happens when I encounter it.
Speaker 1:That's why I be dreaming about that BBL. That's what they did to me.
Speaker 2:That's why I be dreaming about that BBL that's what they did to me.
Speaker 1:Then I realized I was awake and it was just.
Speaker 2:Before they disappear. You don't hear All you hear. What the fuck was that? That's when you wake up. What the hell was all that clapping? It was just you shifting positions. Hey, if it claps while you imagine, you wake up that's crazy yo, that's crazy yo all right, my fault y'all, we being too silly, we being too goofy. We can't help it. We got funny bones right it's really in our signs.
Speaker 1:Y'all heard really it's a sign y'all heard us saying. I like saying obscure stuff.
Speaker 2:Look at you arguing. With this, you really just showing your true sign. You're really showing your true Zodiac symbol to us.
Speaker 1:You're really a Scorpio, really I can see it.
Speaker 2:I already know. Oh yeah, Scorpios, I lost 50% of all of them All right.
Speaker 1:They may, all right, um, they may return after years. So some claim, the same children return decades later. Unchanging appearance, but still not. Oh no, that's the. That's the creepy part, right there.
Speaker 2:Unchanged, like no, that's that's the creepy part right there. Imagine you open the door. You're 20 years old. You come back, you 85 damn still saying no kids what up, old, old bitch, we back, damn. Who the fuck is you? Yeah, you know who we is. We on that time and again.
Speaker 1:You going to let us in, or what To be fair, I'll probably catch a mention around 65, so by the time they're back, it's going to be like why are my grandkids out in this cold?
Speaker 2:Right, you don't need to come inside, right, I'm out here, y'all I was about to say Come on inside, what y'all doing out here. Get in. I knew y'all parents Wasn't gonna take care of y'all. Get inside.
Speaker 1:Whole family day. Yo Kids gonna come back If our grandpa Dead on the floor? Fucking scared the life With the BBM.
Speaker 2:Damn grandpa. Oh no, our grandpa's dead. Damn. Hit him with that. Do a little quick look around, make sure nobody's looking.
Speaker 1:What is this white substance left on the crime scene? Make sure nobody comes around the corner with a camera. Gotta make sure, gotta make sure, okay, okay, put my jammer on the wall.
Speaker 2:Also I'm the only one damn. Hey, TMZ ain't gonna get me put the jammer in the microwave whole. Emp, whole blackout in the whole neighborhood. Yeah, chahid that lobster, alright. So yeah, all right. So we don't know where this came from, but it's a whole terrorist attack.
Speaker 3:It's the chinese they have infiltrated into our cities, you know, sometimes you gotta do that.
Speaker 2:False flags, you know oh shit just to hide the true intentions behind it. You know you can't be called no freak or anything, right? Because then you know years later, people like I knew he was a little weird, I knew it, I knew it was here. This is why I didn't pick him to be a first pick on the basketball team.
Speaker 1:They hit you with that. Hey don't surprise me who you next um, let's see.
Speaker 2:Uh. So described in native american lore, certain tribes, like the cherokee and navajo, speak of dark-eyed spirits of famine, oh, or shadow children who deceive and bring misfortune. Seen near power outages ain't no way short term blackouts or flickering lights after BEK visits hey, yo alright. So encounters increase in October to January, so there's notable spiking reports during colder months often around. Halloween or just after the new year.
Speaker 1:Oh, I know that, okay, okay, but it makes sense, because then they'll get you with the cold Around Halloween, too Around Halloween.
Speaker 2:Bro, damn, they blend in Yo. Okay, they do think a little they do think they do.
Speaker 1:Hey, they just got to get their sentences right.
Speaker 2:Because why are you asking me for an apple with ketchup? That's not. It's not correlating, you know you could have got me, but you know I'm not new to this Right. You could have you could have said anything else really you could have said.
Speaker 1:You could have said let me, let me come inside and use your bathroom.
Speaker 2:That would have been you. Could Y'all really gotta tap in For 14? What is that in galactic currency?
Speaker 1:32 Zipazoids.
Speaker 2:Yo, we'll take the squiggles. Y'all know we talk about the alien over here listen. Y'all know we talk about rough translation. This is still whole comedians out here, whole comedians out here. They really all whole comedians y'all. When I make that cartoon show when I make the next, when I make Brickleberry season 3? Don't be asking no questions oh my god. That's really comedy. At the next level, you know, you just really gotta.
Speaker 1:That's that. You just gotta go with it really. You just gotta Don't think about it too much.
Speaker 2:But it makes sense though that he said it makes sense. No, no, that they would like Try and get you in during the cold oh, yeah, yeah because they'll usually throw that line it's cold, you over here I don't give a fuck.
Speaker 1:Sure is better find somewhere warm to stay.
Speaker 2:You're laying on my heat there ain't, it's cold in here too, whole fireplace right behind you oh my god I was like where, um, let's see okay. So in 2014, a british tabloid reported a wave of sightings and staff ford and shire, staff ford, shire, uk I know we had somebody that listened from there. Oh for real Listener, if you're listening.
Speaker 1:That is for you.
Speaker 2:There was a bunch of sightings.
Speaker 1:Let us know. Tap in. Let us know if you had any of anything happen.
Speaker 2:Including one near Cannock Chase, a well-known paranormal hotspot. One woman saw the black-eyed girl near a cemetery who screamed like a banshee before vanishing Ooh, ooh, ooh Type. Shit really. But that's all the details I got. You got the reports, you got the stories.
Speaker 1:I got the reports, bro. I got two bro. Go ahead, bro. He ain't swearing the shit out of that, oh goofball.
Speaker 2:I'll be dying at work when I listen to that joke.
Speaker 1:It'd be funny. The second time, right, I don't be coming. This is hilarious. Why ain't y'all tuning?
Speaker 2:in right tap in right.
Speaker 1:So here it is. Uh, all right. So we were at a local state park sort of place at between 9 pm1 am, I remember. We were parked alongside the woods and some picnic tables. There was a pretty desolate desolate. We were technically trespassing uh, it was a 17 17 year old female and a 17 year old male at the time and what we were doing there you can leave to your imagination. Basically, all right.
Speaker 1:So, as our curfews were approaching and we were finishing up our time together, we were experiencing a very ominous feeling. He was in the driver's seat preparing to start the car and pull off. The car doesn't start. We sort of laughed it off as it wasn't the first time, and talked Suddenly to the right passenger side, where I was sitting. We see faint lights coming out of the woods. The ominous feeling intensified Emerging from the woods.
Speaker 1:There are four to five children younger than us. Like a parent to be seven to 11 years old. I'm not going to claim they have black eyes. It was dark and I don't remember, as I was pretty shook. I don't read about the black eye. I didn't read about the black eye kids, black eye children, lore phenomenon until years later, which described everything else that we experienced. All I can say is they were not normal. They didn't belong.
Speaker 1:The cabins at the park were not occupied, they weren't even getting rented out. As it was autumn slash winter. We were miles from the park hotel. There were no adults. They were absolutely out of. They were absolutely out of place. Uh, what were the lights? I don't know, but the closest thing I can compare them to are glow sticks, as if they had opened a package of those novelty glow sticks that include bracelets, necklaces or wands. But it wasn't like they were having fun or goofing off, they just stooped. They just stopped, stood there and stared at us. He tried asking what they were doing here if they were lost. Where are their parents? No response.
Speaker 1:The oldest looking, uh, male child, a bit heavy set with the gray hoodie on, approached the vehicle just in front where the passenger headlight corner would be. My friend started reading, really freaking out at this moment. He locked the doors and was like hell, no, we gotta go. Eventually the car starts, the children don't move and the kid stays put in front of the car. My friend eventually yells to the kid I'm going to run you over. The boy slowly backs away, raises his arm and points at us as we're leaving. I didn't look back, uh. So yeah, that was an encounter with uh. That's that. That's the end of it damn, that's pretty crazy.
Speaker 2:What, what you're doing in that scenario? Imagine, bro, you, you, you just got the, you know, you just cleaned the whip and everything you know, got your little black ice right right, right right, as every man should. Every man should right little go-to, little go-to, a little go-to. Something's light, put that 25 cents, 50 cents in, get a new one Right right. Put that thing. Don't open the whole thing because it's going to smell too, strong. You got to proportionalize it.
Speaker 1:Not only that, but as soon as you open it, half its life right there, gone, gone.
Speaker 2:It ain't going to last you, but like two, three days it's gonna smell good though it's gonna smell but that's the time frame you got so you know, you work in your things, you, you do your stuff. Boom, you put in that whole scenario, bar for bar, what you doing first thing.
Speaker 1:First thing you know my spotty sisters be out there, you know. So I see you know mid-stroke you get your tingle right mid-stroke. It's happened before. I've been in that situation mid-stroke, mid-stroke, your ass. I was like oh no oh no, yo yo it's, it's señor, yo yo vamos. Esto pasa algo raro aquí montar tiro ponter, tiro aguas, aguas. So so you know, spotty says right there going, and then who said that hairs is tingling?
Speaker 1:Hair to my butthole. You know. So honestly, bob, I'm in that situation. You know, I ain't even trying, I ain't even, I ain't even let them get in close or like pointing fingers, I'm gone, like I'm gone out of there, like I'm not even going to mess with that bro, like five kids out of the woods when the park is like closed down or not, no, like I'm connecting dots off the rip. They're not supposed to be here. They're kids. I'm not supposed to be here. Let's get the fuck out of here. Like I'm not.
Speaker 2:So what you doing then? I'm leaving bro, you're going to turn into a whole street takeover at the park.
Speaker 1:I'm hitting them. They all gonna hit, they all about to get hit, but they all about to get but their car didn't cut on right it didn't, but it did like.
Speaker 2:It did, though, like once the day cut on scary movie type shit yeah, scary, movie type shit.
Speaker 1:I mean, could we attribute the kids fucking up the car so it wouldn't turn on? Maybe but they also said that it had happened before. So that's another little. You know, that's another little thing.
Speaker 2:This is why you got to check your oil, make sure you got gas. Check your engine Make sure you got to add your freezing air bits.
Speaker 1:Trust me, get your blinker fluid. Get your blinker fluid. Check our website. If you can't find it, come to our website.
Speaker 2:We'll have blinker fluid for all the people that are searching for it. Check the tires and your batteries.
Speaker 1:Once those go out, you know the wheels don't turn, uh, you know stuff like that.
Speaker 3:Um, but now I'm out of there, bro, I'm gone.
Speaker 1:I'm gone as soon as you get that sense as soon as I, because, bro, because, especially like they say, they already feeling, they were feeling on this already.
Speaker 2:They were already feeling that type of energy already but you know when you like up in the mood and everything you know things is getting hot and heavy. You feel like you would have that sense of wait, a minute.
Speaker 1:It's happened to me before not that specifically. But, like you know, I've been in the mood and I know shawty's pants were gonna pull up and they did. You know, you feel me. You feel me I was, I was already like it's my spidey sense front door opening.
Speaker 2:There I am in the living room, butt ass naked.
Speaker 1:Hey look it happens, it happens to the best of us and uh there you that one.
Speaker 2:There I am later that night at the dinner table with the whole family.
Speaker 1:I ain't even making dinner table. I got myself drunk and passing. Fuck out y'all good it's a little story.
Speaker 2:We're going to save it for the next silly episode we have with the guests, right.
Speaker 1:Oh, that would be, a good one.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, that would be good In case we do pull a card Right right, touch it, yeah, something like that, yeah, something like that, yeah, yeah, just a little icebreaker.
Speaker 1:Right, I'm out of there, bro, I'm gone. I'm not even waiting For them to like To like, even Get that close to me, but I'm gone bro.
Speaker 2:It's like your senses Are so good. You just hear a branch Vroom. That's what family guys say. They look at each other. We're about to Vroom.
Speaker 1:Don't even get close, don't even make it out the woods.
Speaker 2:I'm gone already, that's just how good his license is. That's just how locked in, that's just how it is but um, that's. It's crazy how people say that they counter this stuff and everything, but I wouldn't know what I would do in that type of scenario like I, knowing me, I'd be intrigued who said intrigued.
Speaker 1:Well, she did say she didn't see. She can't say there were like black eyes. She cut it like four shirts.
Speaker 2:So there were like I'd be intrigued like what are they like, depending on what time it is you? Know, if it was like two or something like if it was 10, nine. You know, I'm just gonna you know, you know I'm gonna get out of there because you know, yeah, you don't want to. This is gonna be awkward. You know you ain't trying to be associated with anything in any type of way.
Speaker 1:Right, right, right. Bad publicity, bad publicity, there you go. So last thing you need is a whole TMZ van or a cameraman, whole Maury cameraman chasing you Right right, like oh shit, oh shit, right right, you don't need that, you really don't need that, you're right Right.
Speaker 2:But if it's like 2 o'clock or something like that, you know you out there. You'd be like bro, what is they doing out here? Right, hey, what y'all doing out here.
Speaker 1:Right, if you can see them, I guess, yeah, yeah, because for them it was like a little dark, so they really couldn't. They really couldn't see that. But yeah, if it's during the daytime.
Speaker 2:Then, when they hit that lick with the ray gun from, uh, you know, you just gotta throw your hands right, cut your losses.
Speaker 1:You know right, everybody knows. Nothing bad happens at two, two in the afternoon. Nothing paranormal ever happens at two, and that's only when it's three right, only three in the afternoon but uh, what's the other one you got okay yeah, so this one. I couldn't find this one, but I had heard it uh somewhere else. Uh, so this one, uh. So basically it was a, it was an elderly couple uh, not elderly they were like in their 40s, really, really they were in their 40s.
Speaker 1:They had two dogs right and uh, they were just, they were sitting well, they're getting ready to go to bed when the dog started like growling and barking towards the door, front door, right. So the husband, you know he's trying to like pull him off, like let's go, like it's time for sleep. Whatever dogs ain't budging, you know they're. They're going at the door, haven't even knocked yet, so he goes and gets the dogs. As soon he gets the dogs off the door they knock, knocking the door. So he had a little. He had a little, you know, one of those little like, like a peeping hoe, but like you open it up, type.
Speaker 1:So he looked through there he sees the kids and he's like like hey, like what do you want? And he couldn't see their face or nothing. Right, he could. They were just dressed like they had a hoodie and like they were dressed like little little. I'll put it the other thing they said it was during the winter, they didn't have shoes on, they were just out there barefoot and they had like a very, very light jacket. So you know they're like kid, can we use your phone? Uh, we need to call our parents or our guardians. We need to call our guardians. So that was like that's a little weird to say, you know, but he saw the kids, so he's like, you know, I'm gonna let God forbid.
Speaker 2:You don't have parents, right, god forbid. You're a foster child. So we're not going to be all inclusive. We only raise questions whenever we don't say mom or dad Fucking orphan. These useless terms really in today's society, we'll say you're not.
Speaker 1:But so he let them in. He opened the door. As soon as he opened up the door he said he felt like dread, like scared of everything, and the dogs went crazy. The dogs went crazy, but as soon as they stepped into the house they started like whimpering oh, they let him in, yeah they let him in.
Speaker 1:yeah, they let him in because you know it's a kid, they're watching, you know they're seeing kids out there, it was snowing and everything outside, so but he said he feels scared, like he was scared and like he started. Uh, he didn't know why he was scared. He was like it's just two kids, like why am I scared? So he lets him in, lets him use the phone. And then he said he had a feeling like he wanted to go get his gun. So you know he went, got the gun and whatnot, and then by the time he came back the kids were gone. The kids were gone and it's funny. So you know he went and checked, like where the kids were no footprints in the snow and he was looking for them and the kids were like like standing in the middle of the road now.
Speaker 2:So they instantly teleported.
Speaker 1:Instantly teleported but a like a, a black SUV kind of pulled up and the kids got in it and they left.
Speaker 2:Damn.
Speaker 1:So that was basically. You know, everybody was terrified. Once they left, the dogs came out from their hiding place and started like just barking and whatnot. He closed the door. He said he had a really uneasy feeling and whatnot. His wife that was upstairs, she had an uneasy feeling too, but she never talked to them, she just stayed out there. So we fast-forward a couple months. The husband he ended up getting cancer. Cancer ended up passing away damn and the two dogs ended up passing away too dang like, just they instantly got.
Speaker 1:They instantly got sick or whatnot, and uh and died damn, did it say from what, or is it? Oh, the dogs. Uh, I'm not sure about the dogs, but I'm gonna do with uh cancer, yeah, and he said he was like healthy, like he goes through did they say like what type of cancer? Or did they say like I want to say, skin cancer?
Speaker 2:oh shit, because you know sometimes they'll be like, oh, he has this cancer or something. But this is more typically found in like people who are exposed to like high levels of radiation or some shit like that yeah, I think that's why that's what?
Speaker 1:yeah, like that's. I think that's why he's like, uh, like that's how it's surprising.
Speaker 1:I think that his doctor said like his skin cancer has developed, like it was literally just like month or maybe just a month, um, his skin cancer had developed so rapidly like you know, he wasn't because he, he, he had gone to get uh treated before I mean not treated, but like get tested and stuff like that and he was like healthy, like I think I think the story that's like maybe two months ago, and from that time, uh, he had developed the cancer and the cancer had like developed so quickly that that it killed him damn they didn't even give the doctor's time to like uh be able to find it.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, yeah, so he's like it, like fast as hell, just killed him damn, that's crazy right now I guess this is going to be all the stories there is I would give me something, like give you something, but it's just going to be too long, bro.
Speaker 1:No, no, that's fine, bro, that's fine, yeah, yeah, because I mean, the last subject isn't too long either. Yeah, that's fine, I was going to be too long bro.
Speaker 2:No, no, that's fine bro, that's fine. Yeah, yeah, because I mean the last subject isn't too long either. Yeah, that's fine. I was going to say what do you rate the Black Eyed?
Speaker 1:Kids then Like on the scale of one to ten, scale one to ten, I ain't going to lie, I ain't going to lie. A little scary and everything. But I gave, you gotta let them in. That's out of all the stories. Not don't let them in, but for them to cause you damage or whatnot. They have to come into like your house or whatnot or like let them into wherever you're at yeah, so that doesn't it's.
Speaker 1:It's more of a that right, there is more of a high scare meter rather than a high threat meter yeah, like, obviously you know if they get in, you know you're probably going to die, but you got to let it, man first.
Speaker 2:Unless he pull up with that pack-a-punch ray gun, you know you have a fighting chance.
Speaker 1:Demo. It's a young BEK, bro, it's a YBEK.
Speaker 2:The BEK is listening to Youngboy when they're pulling up Crazy. He was there one minute. All you hear is that NBA Youngboy is playing in the background, but gone in the background. You say that you say a three, three, yeah, three for me. I think, maybe for me too, maybe a three or a two.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I want to go lower. Yeah, I want to go lower, but I feel like threes are good.
Speaker 2:Only because they can. If they do manage to get in, we give them a three because it's almost like a certainty that something's going to happen to you. You're going to get sick, According to these reports and everything you're going to get sick, something around you is going to die or something's going to happen, according to these, if everything plays off to the same things that these reports say, or whatever, right, right, but in the sense of threat, like your life is on the line, like adrenaline pumping right, I mean you will have that feeling right because according to, like you know, they said you get the sense of dread sense of fear and all that stuff.
Speaker 1:But you're not really physically you're not really in harm, really like a dangerous way, until you actually allow them to come in, that's up to you like that and that's. That's just if you, that's just.
Speaker 2:That's just kind of like being at the zoo, you know.
Speaker 3:At that point.
Speaker 2:Yeah, yeah, I mean you got the whole gorilla or whole lion right in front of you, but that big, thick-ass plexiglass is holding him back from catching these crazy hands Holding that thing back from getting hit with that uppercut from the devil's basement Bananas go flying everywhere Motherfuckers go, shrink down like Mario Damn, hold on.
Speaker 1:Am I messing up the couch? Suck into the couch. Yo, yeah, bro, yeah, that's how it is, that's how it goes. Got your little arm rest right there. You, the high end. I'm like, yeah, I'm chilling there, bro, you the high end. I'm like, yeah, I'm chilling now.
Speaker 2:You, the high end that man suck it, it's like by the end of the episode, like slowly throughout the episode. You're slowly sinking by the end.
Speaker 1:It's just your microphone and your lips sticking outside the cuts like this, this thing high.
Speaker 2:You got your arm key raised up but um yeah, I'd say a three y'all. Let us know what y'all think, though, or let us know if y'all have any like stories or any encounters that you might have.
Speaker 2:Um, let us know what y'all think on threat level, what they would be like for you or or just anything really associated with it. And uh, yeah, that's that's pretty much let us know. On cosmic cove, y'all just send us a message on instagram at k-o-s-m-i-c, underscore c-o-v-e messages, and tell us hey, reverence, that podcast episode was fire as fuck. 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend.
Speaker 1:14.99 is actually a really good competitive price to all these other subscriptions I was gonna give you 29 but since you were being so generous, $14.99 is actually a steal. Tight shit, tight shit. We love those here.
Speaker 2:But in my humble experience, we are not a 3 out of 10. We are a 10 out of 10.
Speaker 1:Holy shit, I don't know where you live.
Speaker 2:Fuck, but have a good day.
Speaker 1:Respectfully.
Speaker 2:Respectfully, I'm going to kill you At the very end. It's just like some hieroglyphic alien language. Right, who said it's like that door thing?
Speaker 1:What you talking about door Door stopper my fault.
Speaker 2:That's what you call it.
Speaker 1:It's shaped the same way.
Speaker 2:But y'all let us know what y'all think. Like we said, we're going to go ahead and head off to the last subject. Pow. Last subject Pow, pow, pow, pow pow. You know what time it is. It's time for that good old. What are we talking about on the last one? Oh, we had this other topic, but you know how I be. I get silly sometimes and tell Yayo the bad To sometimes redo a topic. Sometimes that's just me being silly.
Speaker 1:Just also casual shit, really Also casual, you know. Just Under further discussion we came to the conclusion that a better subject would be. Personal stories Personal scary stories for y'all we haven't done one of these in a minute, honestly.
Speaker 2:Right, because we know y'all itching to hear about Yayo's infamous Barney story that we always bring up, check it out, check it out, hold on.
Speaker 1:Let me put myself in here.
Speaker 2:Check it out. Lock in, lock in. Everybody. Cut your lights off. We're about to cut all the lights off.
Speaker 1:They came out.
Speaker 2:They said oh, he's telling a story. He's telling a story.
Speaker 1:They know it Alright, so check this out.
Speaker 2:Papa, but you know how you get After you tell this story.
Speaker 1:I started you feel me.
Speaker 2:Started twitching, eyeballs rolling back.
Speaker 1:It really my nut face really Toes clenched, toes grabbing that nut.
Speaker 2:Looking like the dude from home alone that touched the doorknob got his hair, oh yeah go ahead all right so personal scary stories personal scary story.
Speaker 1:Okay, so, so the year was 1997, the the year of our Lord.
Speaker 2:And I'll explain.
Speaker 1:Gay Lord, oh no, I'm just joking, all right, so you know. So there I was, twist but the weed laddie, but the weed laddie, okay, so, nah. So y'all check this out, so, okay. So this, this story, my mom told me this story. Uh, this happened to us when I was probably like not much, not 10 months old type shit. So all I said I used to, uh, uh, my room or the room where I had all the toys and whatnot, uh, uh, she said I would, I would help her, like keep it organized and like, uh, help her clean up and like I would put up my toys and whatnot, you know, always kept clean. So one day, uh, we received this, uh, a barney, like literally a little barney doll, about two, you know, two feet, two feet tall Maybe, maybe something like a foot tall maybe.
Speaker 1:Weighing about like 15 ounces, about 15 ounces, 32 grams, and uh, you know, everything went. You know they put it in the toy room. That's one of us. And then one day my Mom goes to the room after we had done like we went out. We went out the house, you know, we went out, came back. When we came back, the room was like destroyed Toys everywhere. Literally it was a mess. Literally, she said it looked like somebody like just destroyed the whole room.
Speaker 1:My mom thought, since there were cats around the house, she thought that one of the cats went through the window, got in there, tore everything up, didn't pay much attention, right, so there we go clean it up again. This happened, I believe, uh, two more times it happened and she started getting suspicious because then she started closing the window, started closing everything, and every time we would come back she started noticing that everything was getting destroyed. But the only thing that was left standing or like normal was that barnes damn, this shit is giving me chills is the, is the? Is the barney toy? Uh, it was just always sitting there, right, so she ain't paying much mind, but you know she's, she's mad that it keeps getting destroyed like messed up. Uh, so one day, uh, her sister, uh, and her and her boyfriend at the time invited us to go eat tacos, uh, at the corner taco shop and we're like, all right, let's go. And my mom's like I said, let's go, and my mom was going to get ready, get me ready, and whatnot. Well, as she's doing that, she's about to walk back into the house.
Speaker 1:They used to have these two huge dogs, huge dogs. They used to have these two huge dogs, huge dogs. And she was standing like she was coming out the room or like at the. She was basically standing in front of the door to go into the room, right, and I think the room got destroyed again. She was about to go off when the dogs came around into the house and they never went into the house. They actually went into the house and started ground like they were, like the fur was all standing up, you know growling like you know drool coming all over their face, like they were like my mom had never seen them like this angry. They have never been this angry.
Speaker 1:And, uh, my mom was basically just against the, against the, the, the wall, and she, she screamed for my aunt, she screamed for and the other, my aunt's boyfriend, came over here, came towards us and was, like you know, trying to hit the dogs. Like the dogs were locked in. What they thought at first was on my mom. So the dudes, like literally with the stick hitting the dogs, like start, like hitting him, and the dogs were just like, look back, like and I think one of them actually bit the stick through the stick and looked back at my mom. So they're thinking they're going to attack my mom and me. My mom obviously had me in her arms and whatnot. And so the dude's looking at the dogs and I don't think they're barking at you, they're barking at something behind of you. And my mom starts moving out the way and in fact the dogs they're not looking at her, they're looking at the room, they're looking at it and like they're uh, yes and oh he getting, the he getting goosies.
Speaker 1:So my mom starts moving, they get me to put me. My aunt picks me up, runs out the house uh, the dude waits for my mom gets, gets between the dogs and my mom and make sure she leaves Soon, as she's at the house, they both bolt into the room, both, and they say this sounded like they were fighting something Like fighting fighting something in there. And you just hear them fighting, growling, and then you just hear the dogs start whimpering, crying, like they got hit, like you can hear them get hit. And then, while they're like outside not knowing what to do, they hear something jump out the back, like the window that window that they thought the cat was coming in through jump out and it starts running into the woods and there's like a creek back there. Both the dogs jump out the window after it, so they couldn't see what it was.
Speaker 1:The only one that saw, I believe, was, uh, my aunt's boyfriend. She, uh, he said I'm sorry, he said he saw like something in two feet running, just running something, something small running into the, running into the woods. The dogs go out there and they say you can hear something big, hit the water first and then the dogs after it. Damn, they were locked in. They were locked, yeah, they were going the water first and then the dogs after it.
Speaker 2:Damn, they was locked in. They were locked, yeah, they were going after it.
Speaker 1:Then the like the dogs got hit or whatever. You just hear them crying and they came. They started like. They eventually just came back. Uh, they were like all, like you know, hurt and whatnot. So you know this all happened. They go back into the room they try to check out what happened everything was there the room was the best.
Speaker 1:Everything was there except the barney toy. The barney toy was the only thing that was missing. Damn bro, never saw that barney toy again, never, like you could say, like you know it. They looked for it, they looked. It was the only thing. So my mom came to the conclusion that it was.
Speaker 2:Something was attached to that barney toy and uh, maybe hiding it was hiding as a you know, I mean like maybe taking the. Well, yeah, like you said, maybe it was just something, but it like possessed and if I'm not mistaken, uh, the barney toy was.
Speaker 1:Uh, I think they picked up like at a flea market type uh, like a boy type of thing if I'm not mistaken, um we're introducing our special guest today.
Speaker 2:We but uh yeah, so that's.
Speaker 1:That's the barn story.
Speaker 2:Um the infamous barn story, uh but people I've heard other people have like a similar story with like either barney or like the telly tubbies or some shit like that. But I feel like it's like you know, spirits would tend to attach to the innocence of like children's things they don't see.
Speaker 2:Kids don't see the yeah, the uh, the evil and whatever yeah and the parents are like it's just a kid's toy yeah or whatever, and you know it intrigues the kids, because if you're a little kid and you see your doll move and you're like this is the coolest right, right, I would think that. Yeah, I would think the same thing you think like it'd be some disney movie type shit.
Speaker 2:You'd be like oh, I'm making a cool friend with the ghost or some shit, right, but because you don't know any better you don't know any better at the age, but it doesn't really affect you, like, oh, this is something scary because you know, like the little kids always say, my imaginary friend told me to do it right, right or you know, my imaginary friend said this.
Speaker 2:My imaginary friend said he don't like when you yell at me or yeah, or when you send me home with no to bed, with no food, or lock me in the closet for like 30, 30 minutes 30 man who, like the kid in the club. What?
Speaker 1:the lights on. He don't like it when you do god forbid somebody have imaginary friends.
Speaker 2:God forbid, you can't have no imaginary. No, I'm just joking, but um, I feel like that's the way they they attack. It's like an easy easy way to get in an easy way to get in to like start causing havoc within one's home yeah, yeah or to uh try and take the children's like energy or you know what I mean.
Speaker 1:Or take, lose the children. What we say is like lose, lose the kid. Yeah, uh, I remember they. They wouldn't let us watch barney or like think I see it, while they don't, because they instantly attached like that idea like the barney being demonic. I don't think they realized. Well, I realized that over the years that it really wasn't the toy, it was just something was attached to to the. It wasn't the character, it was just something was attached to the, uh, to the toy at the time yeah, because it just is the easy pick is the easy way, yeah you attach the innocence of the children and then boom, you just yeah, reel it in.
Speaker 1:It's a numbers game it's levels, it's levels to this hold on that that's.
Speaker 2:I heard another one like well, not like, I mean you obviously heard your story, but I heard somebody have something like that, but with telly tubbies, but I can't remember the way the story goes, but it's like the telly tubbies were telling them to like do bad things. Oh, like whenever they were like left alone with the telly tubbies. He'd be like do this, break this, do that. Then it started getting darker each time.
Speaker 1:But, I can't remember where I heard the story, or how the story plays out. Bro, I think I had a story about Teletubbies too, did you? I think so I almost want to say so. I know my mom had one with Smurfs.
Speaker 2:Oh yeah, I think you told me something smart, so why don't we tell that one too?
Speaker 1:go ahead this way you're here for all right, so the smurf ones, okay, so this was also mexico, apparently. Okay, apparently I haven't looked it up, but maybe I can find records of this because apparently, where we used to live well, where she used to live um, there was like several deaths connected to, like smurf toys or smurf merchandise types it and like they had accounts of, like, uh, this kid that he wanted because it was around the time that it was coming out, or not, uh, or like it was like a smurf craze where you could buy like bag of chips and it would be like a smurf, uh, smurfs collective and stuff like that, and I think my aunt, when they were little, she used to collect all of them.
Speaker 2:That's really bad marketing, because on some kindred shit you could choke on it.
Speaker 1:That's what I call it. I call it kindred. So there were accounts of this kid that he was having a birthday party. His parents renovated his whole room to be like smurf themed, like he had pajamas, he had the bed, he had uh, wallpaper all over right. And so one day or one night they uh the parents just started hearing screaming coming from the room and and when they walk in you know they rush in. His pillow was like Smurf themed, right. His pillow was like choking him. It was like a big Smurf thing, it was choking the kid. And then his face was like his arms were like bounded by the pillow type shit, and he had like scratch marks and everything on him. Damn. And as soon as the parents walked in, like the kid was be able to move, but he said he wasn't able to move before forehand and all those smurfs that was on the wallpaper and everything, bro, they were gone oh, they moved from the wallpaper.
Speaker 2:Uh-huh, hell, no right they moved and like that's that's what they said.
Speaker 1:That's what the kid said that was scratching his face. They started coming off the walls and started like scratching him and whatnot oh, hell no and that the, the, the blank, the, the pillow. He said it wrapped around him first so he couldn't move, so he can't fight. Then the thing started coming off the walls hell.
Speaker 2:No, not brainy, not papa smurf bro.
Speaker 1:And then there was another one where this girl, she was having her birthday party and she asked for a big Smurf pinata. Right, they left the girl in the tent with her pinata for like literally a minute, like oh, okay, okay, oh. So that's what it was. It was her pinata, they weren't going to bring it out yet, but she wanted to play, she wanted it, she wanted like to to see it or not. So they left it, they just put it on the tree, type shit, something like that. And uh, that, you know they're not thinking nothing, you know they're getting the party ready, you know. So she just went out there, started like playing with, like just playing with the piñata, and then, when the grandma went out, the grandma screamed because the little girl was dead on the ground, the piñata thing, like the rope was wrapped around her neck and the piñata, the piñata was like deflated.
Speaker 2:Oh shit.
Speaker 1:Like you know how. Like it's a piñata it was like deflated, like something was inside of it, like like.
Speaker 2:Dang.
Speaker 1:It's like paper mache, you know, but it was like deflated Like. It was like paper mache, you know, but it was like deflated. It looked like a balloon or something.
Speaker 3:Oh shit.
Speaker 1:And the little girl was, she was dead. Damn Shit got cold. And then for my aunt, so what happened for them, I think? So she had collected all of them and I think she started seeing them move, like they were like they would start like moving. And I think, I think my grandpa, he saw it, he saw them move and he picked them all up and burned them oh shit, but when he burned them, what you mean?
Speaker 1:pick them up and move them. Oh, burned them, no. So he put up, he grabbed them because I think he saw them walk.
Speaker 2:Like the stuffed toys, or what was it?
Speaker 1:No, they were like little, like action figurines.
Speaker 2:Oh, okay.
Speaker 1:But they were like solid, so they don't you know how some toys have the joints to walk they're not supposed to walk, they were just like collectibles, hell no.
Speaker 1:And he saw he would see like the move, like I think she would say that she could see him moving, she would talk to them, and he would wake up like at five in the morning, because that's when he had to go to a four, when he had to go to work. And he got up one like one morning and he like heard the footsteps of something running through the kitchen or the living room or whatever, and he went out there to see and he saw them like moving or whatnot, and so he just grabbed them all, put them in a bag. I think the first thing he did he put them in a bag and he threw them somewhere. Later that day they showed up back at the house Damn, the bag was in the house, like at the house and he grabbed them again and he burned them and he said they wouldn't burn.
Speaker 1:Well, my mom says that they wouldn't burn. Like you know how they're made out of plastic. They just would not burn, damn. And so I think he went and did some other stuff to them and he finally got him like to stay out of the house hell, no, bruh, but yeah, I think there was another one.
Speaker 1:I don't remember there was another, but there was like another. That I know for sure. There was another uh death. You could say there was like a whole thing going on at that time.
Speaker 2:Like you, said, and how long did that go for? What ended up happening? That changed it like oh stopped everything.
Speaker 1:Everybody just stopped buying that stuff yeah, I'm not sure if everybody stopped buying it, because you know it's kind of hard to get people like, even if they do see everything right there, they probably won't believe it, you know. So I'm not. I'm not sure it was for a while, but at least they stopped because, like, literally it was, it was smurf everything. It was like smurf toys, blank, everything. The tv show was on, um, everything was sitting around smurfs. But at least my mom's family, after all those stuff, all that stuff happened. Um, they stopped, like, they stopped watching the shows, uh, buying stuff that had like toys in them, like they just completely got away from all that. But uh, I'm not sure really how it stopped. I gotta ask my mom on that, on like, how, like what happened with the people.
Speaker 2:Yeah, damn bro, that's pretty crazy right there, fuck. No, y'all let us know if y'all have any crazy stories like that or or some Interesting things.

Speaker 1:It was picking up momentum and then it stopped, okay, because you, because you had to delete it, or yeah I had to delete it damn to anybody that did listen to the previous episode before this, I think 44.
Speaker 2:It was about the creepypastas or something like that. So I uploaded the episode, but when I listened to it I don't know what happened. There's no way I left it that chopped up, bro. There is no way. I believe you. I believe you. I feel like I might have just like, because sometimes if you take the sd card or the yeah, the micro sd or whatever you want to say at the computer, you could corrupt your files slightly you can corrupt it maybe you have a chance of it.
Speaker 2:So I feel like that's might of what happened because there is no way I left it that choppy bro, not even on the first episode I've ever left it that, yeah, you know what I'm saying but, um, you know, it sounded awful, but I promise y'all that's not the quality that we bring here. We try and bring some, you know, fair quality, good, decent quality, something to try and at least you know be enjoyable yeah, enjoyable, yeah, and be able to get you to laugh and everything but um.
Speaker 2:Again, I apologize, that's my bad. I need to do better on my part. I need to triple check, like I used to do. But for anybody that did listen again my fault, I. I don't know what happened I'm y'all. Hopefully y'all won't hear that again, but you know, it happens to everyone it happens to everyone. Really we only human. Really, we're only human. But um other than that, we're going to catch you on the next episode. See you on the next one peace.
